About Crowned Athlete
Hi! My name is Brittni and welcome to my Etsy shop!
I opened my Etsy shop back in 2012. When I initially opened my shop, DaisyHoops, I had an idea to make and sell Hula hoops! (Which I still enjoy doing) However, at the time I had no idea how to start a business nor did I know jack dilly about ecommerce. It didn’t take long before I burnt out a few months later.
In 2015, I decided to give my dream of being a stay at home mom and entrepreneur another shot. I renamed the company IJKinspired after my three children, at the time! Only this time, I dedicate my handmade business to the Lord Jesus Christ and magnifying His name. Still being a little wobbly and uncertain on what I would make and sell, I felt I owed it to myself to try again! I made all sorts of products, shirts, etched glass, picture frames, baby blankets, keychains it was a modge podge of miscellaneous things that had no order or went together at all. It was very hard to find my niche in exactly what I wanted to create and make it all flow together. For 3 years I tried more products than I would like to admit. I was determined and wasn’t giving up!
In the months leading up to Jan 2018 I was getting discouraged. I started praying and asking God for a vision. Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” I hung on to this promise for months. In January 2018 I participated in a 21 day fast with my church. I fasted all social media and prayed for a vision. Just as promised, a vision was exactly what I got. My next venture would be called “Road Trippin." Where I made Car accessories, decals, Keychains and patches.
Fast forward to today, 2025, I am now a proud mom of 6 beautiful children. They are my joy! It brings me great pleasure to watch them play sports. Over the years I have found that I love to show my support with cool mom gear. I make them and myself custom apparel to go with each team they have played on. #Teammom Along with apparel I have found it hard to find cute mom gear for the sidelines. Bleacher seats, wagons and blankets. My dream is to have a store front that offers sports goers a fun place to shop to get cool prints and customized gear. I am fueled by my passion to help others cheer their Crowned Athlete to Victory. I love working on projects for others.
